Took students from my grad seminar on community engagement in research & my undergrad marine resource mgmt class to He'eia Fish Pond last week. We removed invasive mangrove & other plants, moved stones for a new wall and more. Students & I worked hard & loved it! Experiential learning/sweat equity

That feeling when a student in your early-morning GIS class thanks you for making the class fun. 😮 😊 😭 so many feels!
