I guess what I’m saying is, money or not, the execution is pretty bad in a lot of places. The game wants to have a cel-shaded/sketchbook aesthetic and it should have gone all in on that. Despite being a good game, it visually looks raw and unfinished a lot of the time. The UI carries.

The Persona 3 remake showed how good Metaphor could have looked. But instead of allocating those resources to their new game, it all went to a remake (which I hear many didn’t even like). What could have been, man.

Im not a stickler for graphics but damn. It looks like a ps3 game and that’s not a compliment. The game needs a stronger cel shading style and better environments, what’s here is bare bones and looks worse than Persona 5 which is almost 10 years old. I’d be nicer if it wasn’t $70. It’s a shame.

I still haven’t beaten Metaphor despite liking it a lot. A part of the reason is the wonky art direction and visuals. At times the game looks great, especially when you’re fighting the surreal Bosch enemies. But most enemies are just generic.

Man it's a real shame MHGU is stuck on switch. I want that on PC so bad.

Thank you! I found it intimidating at first but then I realized all the pros just sculpt clothes like normal for the most part. There's more to it for a riggable model but for sculpting purposes this should be plenty.

The first movie…

With an arm draped over his shoulder, Samwise Gamgee props up an exhausted Frodo. The barefooted hobbits take refuge on a rock surrounded by burning orange lava flows. Sam cranes his neck, searching the skies in desperation as their shrinking island is about to be consumed. Dangling from a chain, Galadriel's gift flares in a brilliant starburst over Sam’s chest. The sun seems to be struggling to gain foothold burning through layers of despair as a patch of blue suddenly opens in the roiling gray skies over Mordor. Behind them, a trio of huge white eagles soar down at the last moment, swooping in with wings bathed in warm light and spread wide to glide over thermals of curling steam.

I suspect that watching this scene come to life in Peter Jackson's movie adaptation of THE RETURN OF THE KING was as thrilling for me as any fan of THE LORD OF THE RINGS. 1/5

Yep, just straight up not using job sites is how I’ve gotten most of my work

Also idk how it is overseas but here in America like 90% of job openings on job sites are fake and/or A I. It’s the worst kept secret, anyone looking for work has known this for years. It’s incentivized, looks good for job statistics. They can say the economy is great bc “there’s so many jobs”
