There's a game that straight up does this. It's... one of the Rune Factories/Harvest Moon but Dungeon Fighting games. Celebrating about being high in the sky makes you male, looking down at the people makes you a lady.

The Stand (extended edition specifically).

Man. Every bit as good and as bad as you'd expect from "Stephen King's magnum opus". Enjoyed it quite a bit, disliked some parts of it. It's 1300 pages, it refuses to be condensed, thoughts or no.

I spent the entire novel thinking Nick Andros was black.

don't read "The Spinner's Wheel" fantasy series by Rojoda Berjoda, the fight scenes don't mean anything and there's a lot of misogyny

also as a bonus i imagined a scene of young s'crow trying to learn swordfighting techniques through books with a stick and a training dummy and the narration being like

"She didn't know what it meant to Flow like a Heron Through the Reeds, but by the Twelve she was going to find out"

i've realized that the "she fights her dad, who has become odin" part of her backstory doesn't mean she has to win immediately.
she just has to *encounter* odin and that's enough for her to end up with an odin-egi situation, i think...

hot tip for other reflexive “sorry”ers who also feel bad when people tell them to stop apologizing so much - swap it for “thank you” instead since people get less weird about thank yous and that’s usually what you actually mean anyway (even if it’s “thank you for not punishing me for existing”)
