it’s quite sad to see tbh, and it likely stems from fans being unable to take it when someone criticizes what they enjoy even if the criticism is fair, which, while understandable, is ultimately a shortcoming we should all strive to work on to avoid these useless fandom spats

i don’t get triggered easily, but i can still read something with ie. noncon & criticize the work if i feel that it was written illogically or served no purpose to the story itself. Many of u think that tw tags automatically means u have to be ok with everything it entails & that’s simply false

see what i’m noticing is that a lot of danmei fans still fail to grasp the simple concept that tw tags are meant for people with ptsd who will legitimately be triggered by certain themes, it doesn’t mean the reader cannot still dislike these elements or how theyre implemented throughout the story.
