If it turns out that I've had some hyper-overpowered form of depression for my whole life and that's why it seems like nothing works to fix it, I am gonna feel SO validated.

Granted, it's not like knowing that is somehow going to make it BETTER, but hey, validation is still cool. I guess?

The other day, my sister said she talked to my mom about studies on treatment-resistant depression she'd read and whether the methods described therein might be helpful for me.

Meanwhile, I'm over here wondering why that is a separate classification and how it's different from "regular" depression.
