A powerfully articulate and moving work, attributed to Elokapina, Finland and Restore Wetlands, Sweden, 2024.
Well considered for it's impact, and - for it's ease of removal.

Dinner with Alphoniso Lingus, recently departed, almost exactly ten years ago following our key notes at the Medical Humanities Conference in Dartington.
We adored him. Gosh he was gorgeous, so open, enquiring and curious.

‘Where are you from?’ Refrains from motorbike taxi drivers - their question and my answer blown away by the wind; repeated by chiselers, the cook, the wife, the thief and her lover. They all want to know.
‘Ireland,’ I say. ‘The island in the west of Europe’.
Some know, some don’t.
The ubiquitous percussion of a torrent of water hitting a plastic bucket, the quelling tempo of the days dust begins with a sweep of bound grass stems.
With sinewy grace, the blue notes of a clarinet insinuate themselves into the sphere of sound and light, bright, untarnished and breezy.
From the earliest hour, the crows have the air, their ligneous timbre scratching the skies.
Dungchen and rolmo announce themselves with orchestrated awe, insistent and epic, like cavalries of sound amidst heroic strikes of thunderous booms. I love the small of coffee in the morning.
And so ends the residency at Gallery Mcube in Patan, Nepal.

Which is not to say that I cannot talk about my work, but that how the work occurs is not an intellectual process.
