Yeah I'd expect Schneider to be gone. He certainly doesn't have the resume of Parayko, so I'm not sure I'd agree his return would be even slightly fewer than Parayko's.

I really don't buy that he's going anywhere. He's from here, he grew up a Rangers fan, he just had a kid, his wife's dad is in poor health. Just seems like a longshot.

Drury is in a tough spot with Trocheck. His value will likely never be higher, but at the same time, he shouldn't just settle on anything to make the move.

Guys not pictured (or still in the NHL) here I'd include: Jagr, Nylander, Straka, Staal, Girardi, Cally, Nash, Brass, Stepan, Boyle, Fast, Dom Moore, Richards.

I still think Trocheck gets moved. I also think Carrick and Raddyish go, with a less likely one being Sheary. I think Othmann gets tossed into whatever trade Trocheck gets moved in. I could also be wrong on all of this.

I think the Sabres could be a team that lands Trocheck (assuming he'd want to go there). They were in on Robert Thomas but balked at the asking price, so they're in the market for a C. Obviously Trocheck's price wouldn't be in the same ballpark as Thomas, so maybe they pivot there.

I feel like my thoughts on Trocheck being moved will change significantly if he's in the lineup tonight. If he is, I don't think he's moved tomorrow.

I first saw Colton Parayko play at the Traverse City tournament. He was an absolute mountain of a teenager.

No doubt. I've just seen things like Gabe has arrived and stuff here and from my friends. It feels like I said that a million times for Fil, Laf, KK, etc.

I'm super duper excited about Perreault, but we should also temper expectations after a really great period. I don't know if I'm just jaded, but how many times did we all say 'Laf has arrived' only for him to go pointless in the next 9 games. I have high hopes for Gabe, but also being realistic.

Not a great night for the goalie. Helps the tank though.
