Honestly, my favorite part of this joke was how it has multiple different ways it can be interpreted, and the one that doesn't make sense is equally amusing to me

I kinda want to start judging my mental state on a scale from Nana to Nana. It was nice a few days ago when I was feeling significantly more Hachi.

I always get weirdly excited when I discover the exact preset or sample used in a popular piece of music.

One of my favorite feelings is when you stumble upon a treasure trove of awesome bands you'd never heard of before. Hitting so hard right now.

So to all of you, thank you. To everyone I've worked with, everyone who has supported me, everyone who has touched my life in some way. For the games, the covers, the films, the music, and everything in between. Thank you.

The opportunities I've had are genuinely still surreal to me. I can never accurately express how grateful I am for them all.

That's why things like this mean so much to me. Being handed a reminder to take some time and appreciate all of the wonderful people I've gotten to collaborate with over the years. To celebrate all of the fantastic projects I've had the honor to contribute to.

Taking breaks on social media under the guise of feeling some sort of interpersonal connection, but in the end only winding up feeling more alone. It's so easy to lose sight of what you are even doing. So easy to minimize your own work, and connection to others.

They are physical reminders of all the cool projects, and more importantly, amazingly talented people I've had the privilege to work with.

Being a freelancer in this industry can sometimes feel incredibly isolating. Sitting alone, working at a desk day after day.

The reason these trophies are so special, to me personally, isn't even about winning, or recognition, or anything like that. They are meaningful for the same reason that boxed game releases, vinyl/CDs, and any other awards have been.
