After all the chaos of the last couple of weeks I still managed to pull my last projects together and dress Steampunk for my cosplay-group's vintage-wizard event! Met friends for lunch at the steampunk-themed bar on Universal Citywalk, then hung around Hogsmeade!

Finally got the cats home Saturday only to find out the central heating not working! Emergency repair guys found cracks & leaks-- total loss! They returned Monday to install new unit + multiple code-upgrades, even hauled away my defunct air conditioner!

I've been sharing my Mom's living room with 8 cats while my condo complex was tented for termites! Three super-stressful weeks packing and moving, only the last couple days have nerves started stabilizing. The 3 foster kittens are having a ball, everyone else is scared.

I thought it was very appropriate that Appreciate A Dragon Day was on my Dad's birthday, Jan 16, as he was born in Year of the Dragon, and died in Year of the Dragon! He lived nearly 96 years; he passed this year just a couple weeks short of his birthday on Jan 2, 2025. 🐉❤️
