It’s great!! A true return to form while being extremely fresh and unlike any of their past work. Narratively compelling, sonically diverse, and thematically cohesive. One of the best albums of the year so far imo

Just listened to the new Gorillaz album. Is it as good as Demon Days and Plastic Beach? No, not even close, but that’s to be expected. Is it the single best project they’ve released since Plastic Beach by a fucking landslide? Oh yeah. It’s real fucking good. I’ll be listening to The Mountain a lot
