York woman, who lost sight at 13, speaks about importance of braille A York woman who lost her sight aged 13 has spoken about the importance of braille – despite its decline in use in recent decades.

In celebration of World Braille Day, one of our founding members, Anne, recently spoke to The Press in York about her sight loss, which she lost aged 13, and the importance of braille.

Thank you to reporter, Abby, for the thought-provoking piece.
