Just before we closed for Christmas, our Chair Exercise group’s festive celebration included a fantastic milestone. Xercise Fitness Haxby was officially awarded Sight Loss Friendly in York status through our Community Connect project, funded by The National Lottery Community Fund. (1/2)

Great news! We have been awarded funding by The Community Mental Health Transformation Grant Programme 2 (via the York Mental Health Partnership and ‘Connecting Our City’ Partnership) for our Talking Space & Community Activities project.

The topic for January will be: Quick wins, basic android phone accessibility settings. Information on what settings can be changed on your android smartphones to make your device accessible for you. (2/3)

We are running digital cafes for people with sight loss. These sessions will cover a range of technologies, ranging from talking books on your mobile devices to AI assistants. (1/3)
