They want a US with some mythical version of benign communism in place of capitalism, because they naively believe communism is the opposite of capitalism. It's not. It's just another flavor of authoritarianism.

Disbanded as a party? We need to scrap the system and start over. It enables way too much corruption, and they tried this disband-and-rename it crap a couple of times in our history. Conservatives always come back because the system is now tilted in their lower-population favor.

'Won't matter. Most of them are American-style Tankies; Junior Commies who weren't born until well after the Cold War, and don't really understand what an authoritarian shit-show unchecked communism is.

That's the problem with our side. So many of the people here think they can save the nation with an earnest chant, a peaceful march, and a spirited political campaign when the other side is fine just SHOOTING PEOPLE IN THE FACE and kidnapping children.

You can TELL who never stopped being bullied.

It's an easy mistake to make. We're basically the American version of Canada up here. A lot of us even grew up tuning in Canadian television on the rabbit ears. There was a time when we could wander back and forth between Michigan & Canada without passports, checking in, or even stopping.

Why hasn't any decent video game studio made a D&D/Baldur's Gate style RPG out of Villains & Vigilantes, Champions, or any other superhero tabletop RPG?

The closest I ever found was Freedom Force and its sequel, but it's very outdated at this point, and it was very limited (and cheesy) at the time.

Legislators in the 21st century are just hucksters grifting for their own bank accounts.

And then you look at what they charge for a 20 oz. bottle near checkouts, and realize it's the same or more than a 2-Liter bottle.

However, I'd eat Heinz baked beans before I'd ever, ever touch Vegemite again. What the hell, man? That stuff is like toejam on toast.
