She was in California as part of her speaking tour in the United States. Dr. Goodall’s discoveries as an ethologist revolutionized science, and she was a tireless advocate for the protection and restoration of our natural world.

A lot of my generation learned some of the greatest lessons about having empathy for wildlife from primatologist Jane Goodall. Long ago she appeared at a TCA press tour to promote one of her docs. Our members aren't supposed to applaud for panelists. But I'll never regret applauding her.
