So far, MLS home teams have only lost 4 times in 29 games with +34 GD.
Orlando City has two of those losses.
Why wouldnβt Pareja bring on Tiago he was the best player last week in the 2nd half

This Orlando - Miami game is in the early running for best MLS match of the season.
Just back and forth
Mehmeti, Julian Hall, Gozo, Peyton Miller, Cavan Sullivan are the best US teenager prospects.
The other one at their level in Europe is Mathis Albert at Dortmund.
Cavan is recognized as a top player in the world at his age & I think Mehmeti is likely better than him.
Holy smokes Messi!

I couldn't think of a worse start to the season than St Clair is currently having though 1.5 games.
3.18 xGOT faced
5 goals given up
(-1.72 goals saved)
He might but he's also too old for this years 22u22 (he turns 22 next month)

MLS 22u22 often reaches for players at the end of the list, but not this year. An early look (it's 24 players and I'm missing alot):
Tier "$5m+ sale in their future"
Mehmeti, CM, RBNY
Hall, ST, RBNY
Gozo, RM, RSL
Martinez, RW, LAFC
Duah, CB, SD
Silvetti, LW, MIA
Miller, LB, NE
Cavan, AM, PHI
It's amazing what the M. Bradley system has been able to do so quickly.
I also think it's worth noting that there will be learning pains. RBNY have given up quite a few gilt edged chances. Revs had multiple 3 on 2 breaks they squandered without even a shot.
A good team will punish that.
It's a long way to say, this league has been churning out young really good talent at a global level for years.
This class is as good (better?) than any before it but they have to be given minutes to show it. Not playing Berchimas even bench minutes is borderline negligence.
2021: Ricardo Pepi and Brenner
2022: Thiago Almada, Gaga Slolina, Ismael Kone, Alan Velasco likely Obed Vargas and maybe Aidan Morris
2023: Diego Gomez, Caleb Wiley. Maybe Luna & Brady
2024: Maybe Esmir, Saliba, Cavan, David Martinez, Peyton Miller
2025: I'd have bets on Gozo, Freeman, and Duah
Here's a list of MLS 22u22 players who became a $10m+ player
2018 Class: Alphonso Davies, Tyler Adams, Yangel Herrera, Ezequiel Barco (Jefferson Savarino might join)

Ricardo Pepi scored 13 goals as an 18 year old and then was sold for $20m.
Hall is 17 years old and is on 3 goals in 2 games.
Convenient that when Mehmeti and Hall are starting for the USMNT at the 2030 World Cup theyβll already know Michael Bradleyβs system

I feel like Mehmeti is Yaya Toure reincarnated.
Which is very exciting to me, as Yaya Toure is a top five favorite player for me.
