After all the dystopians I read and watched, I never imagined it'd come down to drowning in misinformation fueled by spite and aided by Gen AI, and all the companies knowing they're participating in ushering in the end times, but their CEO would like another 20 billion before it all crashes.

I should be allowed to say no. That should be one of the few things I can control in my life.

It feels manipulative as hell that instead I'm faced with the weak option that implies I'll be ready for Skynet tomorrow and they just hit me at a bad time. The "remind me later" option sets me on fire.

Also, whoever decided that all the presented options to not use Gen AI shouldn't allow you to say "no"...that asshole should be sent to live in a dungeon.
