I think it's great that the president put on his most solemnly branded baseball cap to receive the returning coffins of soldiers killed in the unnecessary war he launched to distract from his failing presidency and pedophilia scandal.

Look at that gold-like letting. Classy as shit.

BTW, if you can't access that link, let me know so I can delete it. I don't want to get anyone's hopes up.

I also couldn't attend in person because my pain levels are unreal. I've taken a muscle relaxant to help with spasms and my brain is a bit goofy, so trying to achieve tech things is yikes.

It's wild how things go in and out of popularity and that it's a cycle. People assumed Bridgerton (2020) was ushering in historical romance's heyday but, instead, a long-time imprint is shutting down because historical is "out" supposedly. share.google/jp58wroNomxS...

I'll probably delete that later because I assume the video won't be available forever.

If you can access it and can back up to where this person with a striped hat stands up, it's at -42:11 or around 7:32ish. They ask Alex Hirsch if Dipper was ever intended to be trans and his answer is just so...perfect. I tried to get a link for it but I'm on my phone and can't seem to do it.

I don't know if everyone can access this or how long it'll be available, but here's what I was watching. The Gravity Falls interview just ended.

I love finding out people involved with a series are just as amazing as what they've made. They were both really great.

*many fans

🙄 Typing quickly while watching.

That was so much fun and so wonderfully wholesome. I loved that.

Watching the Gravity Falls Q&A at ECCC remotely (Eldest is there but it's too close to my surgery to risk exposure) and Alex Hirsch and Kristen Schaal are just so lovely and kind.

I can't believe how my fans there are of Gravity Falls.

We're watching the Death Note series. My kids figured, despite the dark vibe and topics, that it wouldn't worsen my med-related depression. They're...right. It's like the cleverness and darkness appeals to the gothy Gen X nihilist in me.

Well, gas is expensive, and food is expensive, and we’re doing a war nobody wants, but at least there are no jobs

Costco is also part of the recall.

We've got some frozen fried rice to throw away. We always take the bags out of the box so we can tuck them in spots in the freezer, so a refund isn't really plausible. www.seattletimes.com/business/tra...

Really wild what an absolute free for all tech companies are making of the world right now.

We spent weeks of media time on whether or not shampoo thieves at cvs were a sign of a fallen world and tech companies just grabbing what they can in broad daylight, at scale and without shame.

I wonder how the folks at Grammarly *thought* the people whose names they're using would react to this?

I miss this too for WA. There are a few things that haven't made the jump like a lot of local accounts and that does change the vibe of your feed.

FDA’s controversial vaccine chief will exit agency next month | CNN The US Food and Drug Administration’s head of vaccines and biologic medicines will leave the agency at the end of April, a spokesperson confirmed to CNN on Friday.

Vinay Prasad has been an a noxious influence on public health and drug regulation. Good riddance. UCSF should not take him back. He should wander in the wilderness forever. www.cnn.com/2026/03/06/h...

If allying yourself with an anti-vax lunatic and helping him gut public health in America while children die of vaccine-preventable diseases doesn’t get you expelled from academia, then the whole system is utterly broken.

I think last time I started reading, I read like 9 of them one after another before I had to break because my actual life was suffering and I had things to accomplish. And they're so clever. You actually feel like you stepped into a well-researched and fully-formed world. Love them.
