Incoming fall weather: absolutely love the cooler days, darker mornings, hoodies. Hate the week-long headache I’ve had from the temp change. Sigh.

Today I am sad and full of despair. For a variety of reasons; but #1 being the loss of my little ginger tripod cat, Mr Red, yesterday. He was the sweetest soul that ever lived. 13 years and I never heard him hiss or even growl. The boy had the kindest heart and I will miss him every day.

Somehow, I wound up with really great people in my life, that seem to care about me. I’m not sure how it happened, and how it still happens, but if I can be measured by the quality of people in my life, then I am awesome. Because holy shit, I can’t even believe the amazing people I know.

In this year of our lord 2025, I should not be wishing for the sudden and immediate death of the US’s Nazi president.

About once every month and a half, I have just enough energy to schedule things with folks, and then spend twenty minutes sending out a billion texts and completely block out way too much time in the next 4-6 weeks.

My father passed a little after 10 PM Pacific last night. I am glad that he’s free of his failing body, and sad that his light has gone out.
