Something I have noticed about that black splotch on Sweet Ann is it's actually on a lot of the old offical promotions, it was probably a cover up and swatched from another black tone and probably looks fine on particular computer monitors or screens and just never got fixed.

one of our alpacas, our alpha female passed away this morrning, her name was pandora and she was very sweet :( she wasn't even that old but we couldn't figure out what she was sick with which usually we are really good at figuring it out what it is but we did everything we could.

Somtimes I feel like giving up before I start lol

Anyway just rambling you can take this as whatever but that is my experience.

I feel like it's about finding a sweet spot or taking your knowledge of your interface to execute particular experiences wether it's a giant verb bang or delay smack or what you EQ in or out of a voice or instrument.

In terms of mixing you can get really crazy or you can be really simple I sometimes think less is sometimes more, I think compression is probably the most important thing and I often side-chain stuff depends on how prominent I want something, there is a lot of nuance to this.

It's good though in the right circumstances like if you need something tigher or wider it's perfect for getting dialed in

I did this a lot in vocaloid but if you really wanna get fancy taking the time to draw in tension or darker tones is worth it or doing glissandos or crescendos, consonant velocity and all that stuff sometimes I find being pretty extra and even can muddy your vocal if your not careful.

Tuning artifacts can happen but usually you can wipe these and draw your own or generate something close enough, sometimes I am lazy and will just generate until something works or is close because sometimes drawing something idk feels like a lot of extra work for minimal return depending.
