A federal judge has just granted class action status to transgender people looking to update their passports.
This means that very shorty, the window will open to update your passports with the correct gender marker.
Gutting funding for public media will cut off news sources for millions of Americans.
That’s exactly what Trump wants: to exert even more control over the news and information that the public receives – or doesn’t even receive at all.
It’s a hallmark of dictatorship.

This bill would also be a disaster for the trans community. Considering how they’ve explicitly targeted passport updates, trans humans may be in a situation where their documents can never match their legal name. This bill could effectively disenfranchise many if not most trans folks.
