Use the 1 foot rule. If it looks good one foot away, it'll look great on the tabletop. A lot of time you'll take a zoomed in photo and see all the oopsies of your paint job that no one will ever notice.

Also (and most importantly), just paint stuff. Unpainted armies are a downer to play against.

What's insidious about it's not a cut in funding. It's rescinding of money congress already approved. So contracts were made, money was spent, and suddenly stations are stuck with no money to cover expenses as they had funding till 2027 (now suddenly gone). GOP knew it would make CPB insolvent.

Love having detailed settings for D&D out there. Super cool stuff can be plopped into the setting. But making them the default is not ideal. Best to have generic options too.

... BUT the hobby is full of hypercompetitive, super optimal, players that must have entire collections otherwise they are a complete nerd failure. And if you don't have X card in your deck, it absolutely sucks (even though you have 3 cards that are similar enough). So here we are.

LOVE the game. Can totally see people that are enamored with it getting FOMO and wanting to get everything. But honestly, after 2-3 campaigns you likely have a big enough investigator card pool to enjoy lots of deckbuilding on that end. So you can dive into just getting campaign stuff only...
