Infinity. It's got pretty deep lore and the company is always putting out sets encapsulating larger conflicts.

The other one would be Battletech. Which has room be both a scrappy-on-your-own merc company, or trying to play part of a larger "historical" military campaign

Some spooky shows. Black Summer is an adrenaline-fueled zombie thriller. Shifting of time and perspectives adds to the story. Mind you it's DARK showing people at their worst. S1 ties everything up nicely you could leave out S2. S2 is good, but not as solid as the first.

Will add Locke and Key. Neflix picked it up and it's not bad, but the comic is so much better. A family picking up their lives after a tragedy move into an old family house, discovering that holds keys which can open doors and abilities.

Basket Full of Heads. A snapshot of a small tourist town in the 70s that goes sideways during a storm, exposing more about the townspeople. A real page turner.

Spooky season so here's a couple of comics. The Nice House on the Lake is great and has a fascinating premise. Not gonna spoil it but has so many mind-bending turns.

Smile 2. Maybe 30 minutes too long. But certainly has some creepy scares and Scott's performance is great.

Additions as of late: Sinners. Likely impossible to see this blind but try if you can. It's a far deeper horror movie with a nod towards the African American experience and the music that came from it. Just a wonderful film.

Bumping this again.

Wild with 28 Years Later you have a decent, thoughtful horror movie that spins off into glib garbage in the last 8 min that practically ruins it. No clue why it wasn't added as an after credits stinger. Completely changed the feeling of the movie for me.

I'm doing my part.

Avoiding political BS but the firing of a late show host made me think of Ezra Klein. He said if this were happening in any other country you'd think it was slipping into authoritarianism. We've been here before. It's an old story. We need to turn the US around fast.
