l think parents of trans children often feel suicidal too, it's about the hate/ danger you see a person you love facing, the craven lack of governmental support, funding, legal protection. No party supports carers enough, look at the DWP persecution of disabled and carers that goes unquestioned 1/2

in these days of dire, reading writers with integrity helps... and humour interspersed with gems like this makes me tolerant to Terry Pratchett's dated outlook in the earlier books
