like i get that the club scene is the biggest space to be in for VRC but it's not the only space and people seem to forget that, vrchat is a big ol sandbox and optimisation needs to be applicable for all use cases

even at non party instances (for example, a car world) the cars are essentially another avatar *per driver* meaning any more than like, 20 people in GOOD rated avatars will be unplayable on pc, absolutely out of the question for a quest user

carx street is successful because of one thing that many games have got away with in the past from other genres: character customisation.
the shitty story is easily ignored, the world map is serviceable enough but the cars have an unrivalled amount of customisation to them-
