CNN: More than 1,000 civilians killed in Iran since war began, rights group reports By Helen Regan More than 1,000 people, including children, have been killed in Iran since the war began on Saturday, according to US-based Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA). The rights group said as of Tuesday afternoon ET, at least 1,097 civilians had been killed, including 181 children. More than 5,400 civilians, including 100 children, have been injured, HRANA reported. The group said its report is preliminary and is veritying hundreds more reported deaths.

Texans have been hollering about voter suppression. My county has 3 voting polls open today. 2 are small churches, the other is near the military base. One is in a 1k pop town 40 miles away from the other two. The 100k college town 20 miles from each polling place has no polling place open today.

The Small Business Administration (SBA) appeals a finding that the agency violated the Administrative Procedure Act by declining to fully forgive a Paycheck Protection Program loan. The appeal turns on whether the borrower’s payments to independent contractors were “payroll costs” under the Program’s statutory definition of that term. The interpretive question is not a routine ground ball. The District Court said yes, ruling that payments to independent contractors were covered. As did another district judge in the Western District of Louisiana. A district judge in the Eastern District of Michigan sided with the SBA and said no. So too did two Circuits. The Third will be the third. So we will reverse.
