Anyway that's probably all for me this year because I sure did give myself a nasty headache even watching snippets of the skating but it has been killing me that no one is giving poor Amber Glenn some salt! I swear if they would just give her some salt she would get gold!

Because if a sport admits it selects for people with, say, mild connective tissue disorders and proceeds to have them do the exact things people with that disorder are supposed to be careful about doing without at least some safeguards, might interfere with profits, right? Wouldn't want that!

I also have a conspiracy theory that most of the Olympic athletes who are like "emotional" and "inconsistent" actually have brain damage from their sport and/or some condition their sport selects for but pretends not to select for.

The implication of this is that she is the best skater because she can land triple axels without having enough bloodflow to her head. I am a fan of the idea that the first out queer women's singles figure skater (during a huge anti queer backlash!) is the best one and in 20 years we will admit it!!
