Totally hear you on what happens to you when you go into sick mode. I can see people’s lips moving, but I can’t hear them.

For me, personally, what I loved about Joe Biden, was his humanity and his empathy. It was the same vibe as Jimmy Carter had. And they could both throw out a good zinger every once in a while.

I remember that debate. The panic was palpable. People don’t understand what it takes to do that type of stand-up. I’ve seen plenty of the gaffes of people half his age while engaged in these types of debates.

Agreed. If you look at the track record and what they engaged in over his tenure, it was quite impressive. The right wanted to portray him as a doddering old fool. He was far from that. I think history will reflect his statesmanship.

What has blown my mind is how long they’ve turned their back to it. This just didn’t happen overnight. The Republicans have been ramping this up for a long time. Then social media changed the game and the Democrats miss the boat.
