How far Labour has fallen that, now, in the face of a genocide, they refuse to use their power to oppose arms companies testing on Council land π₯

BAE Systems arms states that are engaged in human rights atrocities like Israel and Saudi Arabia.
Yet the Scottish Government is giving them millions in grants.
We must stop funding multinational arms companies, and instead use that money to support people in Scotland.

I have a motion at #Edinburgh Council on Thursday to discontinue councilβs use of X / twitter.
Two reasons:
Firstly, X has become increasingly lawless, a place of abuse & vitriol - members of the public shouldnβt need to engage with this to read council updates or report issues to the council.
