"AI" skills are basically just documentation and it says something about how documentation only gets resources and respect if it is framed as "technology". Which has gender bias all over it.

Puffing Anthropic because Hegseth bashes Anthropic is like sticking with Platner because Schumer backs MilIs. I get the impulse. I think for many itโ€™s born of fatigue. The desire for a simple binary. If bad guy says X, not-X is true. But friends, thereโ€™s a whole other alphabet we can work with.

I ask what the feedback from women has been on the film and he says he rates the opinion of his wife, Nancy Strang, although her favourite bits were when the women were speaking.
Which wasn't often.

Any recommendations for North wales with the family? Big kiddo wants to do zipworld, but would love some other suggestions.

Iโ€™m embarrassed to say Iโ€™ve never been to Wales other than through it for ferrys to Ireland.

Hey folks, any content designers or design systems people who contract, Iโ€™m trying to get a picture of the state of the market at the moment. Are you finding roles more or less prevalent than usual right now? And are rates lower, about the same, or higher than what youโ€™re used to? DM me if easier

Hive mind! My partner has fairly extensive bilateral sensorineural hearing loss and is meant to wear hearing aids but found the NHS ones very uncomfortable.

Weโ€™re looking at private options, and Iโ€™m wondering if anyone in my network has any recommendations?

Westminster Meeting House raided by Metropolitan Police again. Statement: โ€œFor Quakers, faith and action are inseparable. Peaceful protest, prayer and nonviolent action are integral parts of many Quakers' religious life.

Whilst we take the planning of criminal acts very seriously, we believe that this incident is a deliberate targeting of committed young people who want to make our country a more equitable place. This raid is part of a systematic stifling of dissent.

That this is the second time in a year that the police have raided our meeting house dramatically illuminates the broader trend in the UK of cracking down on those who disagree with the government. The right to protest is fundamental to our democracy. It's a key part of how people make their voices heard between elections.โ€ โ€“ Oliver Robertson, Head of Witness and Worship

NEW ANALYSIS: UK emissions fell 2.4% in 2025 as coal fell to a 400-year low. Incredibly, we used less coal last year than than in 1600, when Queen Elizabeth I was on the throne and Shakespeare was writing Hamlet.
