Just saw a post on Reddit about British remakes of American dramas/comedies. Someone suggested NCIS Plymouth, which I would love to see, even if every episode is about drunk matlows fighting on Union Street

Is it really that difficult to sit quietly for 2 hours? I certainly didn't need the running commentary (presumably filling in her husband on 52 episodes and 2 films worth of developments)

Watched the new Downton film last night in Wilmslow. Good film, but I was shocked at how much the audience (primarily older woman from a "nice" area) talked and checked their phones throughout

Pretty sure the White House is currently witnessing scenes similar to "The Death of Stalin"

At the other end of the scale, I'm less sure. Goldeneye is up there for best film, but the theme isn't as good as some of the 80s films (which are admittedly cheesy).

The obvious best all around is probably Skyfall, which is funny as I didn't like it at first

Die Another Day was not only the worst Bond film, but its theme song is also the worst. I'm not saying it was all Madonna's fault, but...

Just heard The World is Not Enough in the car. I'd probably say it's the biggest divide in quality between the song and the film (the theme is one of my favourites overall, but the film is meh)

As for what I struggled with... Everything. I used an older recipe which didn't mention discarding part of the starter, and said it would only take 4 days. I was too trusting and ended up with a sloppy, unproved mess

Attempted to cook sourdough for the first time tonight. I won't say never again, but I've never struggled so much when making bread.

Like many people my age, Hulk Hogan was one of my heroes growing up. Obviously that didn't last long once I learned more about him.

He should have been remembered for his impact on wrestling, but instead he'll be remembered for his racism, politics, and general shitty personality. And rightly so.

RIP to WWE Hall of Famer and to a legend that has influenced countless generations of people, whose memory will live on for generations to come.
