I’m sure I will regain my interest in things and watch a lot of these later on, but as of right now I really have not been in the headspace to log anything and probably won’t be for a while. But I’m working through the grief right now so it’s okay :)

(Not so) fun little life update: this month my grandfather passed unexpectedly, nonetheless on Friday the 13th, and I really have had no interest or desire to watch anything since then.

hello filmsky! continuing my oct ‘23 watchlist, i watched the fog tonight! it’s the first john carpenter film i’ve seen, and one thing that really stood out to me were the beautifully composed shots, especially of adrienne barbeau and the lighthouse. hocus pocus is next on my watchlist! boxd.it/29Cc

you totally should!! i had to put the thing further down on this list because i knew i’d have to ease into it with other horror movies beforehand… since i don’t do great with gore 😵

your comment on swiss army man is so true! i think that aspect is often overlooked by many due to the silly nature of the film, but it really provides such a great commentary on both of those things.

the batman as of right now, but swiss army man is also a favorite! i think his character in okja is super underrated though.
