It seems Trump will stop at nothing in his quest to turn the White House into a suburban Warsaw wedding reception venue.

Just the POTUS gleefully threatening an American city with the US military. Nothing to see here.

Certainly not a reason to impeach him or anything.

Detainees treated like violent criminals. Moved from cage to cage at 3 a.m. and sleep-deprived. Only 3 minutes to eat. Bathrooms three times a week. No towel to dry off after a shower and growing fungus on their bodies.

Listen to this once. Then listen to it again.

Case 8:25-cv-00951-PX
Document 211
Filed 07/02/25 Page 2 of 5
3. The proposed Amended Complaint details the Government's defiance of court
orders after this Court granted preliminary injunctive relief. The Amended Complaint includes
allegations that the Government made decisions to defy judicial mandates. These allegations are
new to the Complaint, but have been cited in various filings in this Court as the case has developed.
They are directly relevant to Plaintiffs' constitutional claims and outstanding requests for
declaratory and prospective injunctive relief.
4. Plaintiffs also seek to incorporate evidence that emerged in a June 2025
whistleblower disclosure from former DOJ official Erez Reuveni, who was previously counsel for
the Government in this case. The new allegations include government officials internally
acknowledging that Abrego Garcia's removal was an "administrative error" while simultaneously
working to prevent his return and to make post-hoc justifications. These revelations provide
evidence of deliberate misconduct that was unavailable when the original Complaint was filed and
directly support Plaintiffs' claims.
5. The proposed Amended Complaint also Includes Abrego Garcia's first-hand
account of torture and mistreatment at CECOT, as well as developments regarding his return to the United States and the Government's stated plan to remove him again. These allegations identify
the severe harm actually suffered and the threat of repeated unlawful removal that supports
Plaintiffs' request for prospective injunctive relief. The inclusion of these facts, which could not
have been pleaded at the time of the original filing, is essential to present a complete picture of the
violations and ensure adequate relief.
6. Plaintiffs also propose to clarify that the relief sought includes restoring the status
quo ante, which requires (among other things) the Government to return Abrego Garcia to

Among other things, the amended complaint “includes Abrego Garcia's first-hand account of torture and mistreatment at CECOT…”

George W. Bush was a terrible President who might get a softened view from history given the outsized positive effect of PEPFAR.

Trump & Musk will get the opposite, with cuts to USAID & PEPFAR crowding out their other evils due to the astonishing scale of harm.

Why am I so unimpressed by these strikes? Israel and the US have failed to target significant elements of Iran's nuclear materials and production infrastructure. RISING LION and MIDNIGHT HAMMER are tactically brilliant, but may turn out to be strategic failures. 🧵 1/17

I don't know if this is a genuine question from you, but if it is, of course not, Poland hasn't forgotten about US aid. PL is worried about the US's attitude in the event of a Russian attack and is seeking to diversify its alliances. Since Trump, Poland no longer has as much confidence in the US.

Not surprised. I live in Poland, one of the most pro-US countries in the world. Trump's treatment of Ukraine is very badly perceived here, and has radically changed the image of the USA. And of course there are all the other issues, trade war, democracy, insults, rudeness...

I asked Jamie Raskin if Dems should telegraph clearly that those who break the law for Trump or carry out illegal orders might be legally vulnerable later. It got interesting. Raskin also proposes new legislative constraints on presidential emoluments violations.
