People keep saying that but the Feds, Union, and every news agency speaks like Canadian ship builders were ready and waiting for those contract.

"OH hey Union! Yeah we've totally ended the contract with the Chinese owned CMI Weihai and are signing a contract with the U.S. Owned Seaspan because of that super strong bid you put in, and, btw, it's Fine if the ferries are done in 2050 or whenever once your contract ends with the feds! ❤️"

... and our current German built 'floating stock' has had endless problems..
