This talk traces Japanese poetic evolution from classical waka to modern tanka.

On 29 Nov 2025, Jinqi Ying, PhD candidate supervised by Prof. Nathan Hill, presented her paper “Distinguishing ‘熊’ and ‘能’” at the international academic conference “Chinese Classical Studies: Methods and Practice in the Study of Old Chinese Phonology through Paleography,” held at Fudan University.

We've just celebrated our new Master’s graduates on 27 Nov 2025 from Chinese Studies, Clinical Speech & Language Studies & English Language Teaching @tcddublin.bsky.social !
