art (like most skills) is like a muscle, you're not born knowing how to do it, you just need to make and make and you will get better with time :)

i started with a pencil and some scrap pieces of paper, kept drawing and drawing and look where it got me

Old traditional art I made when I was around 6 years old in a lined tiny notebook. The drawing is of a anime girl.

Recent traditional art of a town drawn in a fountain pen in a sketchbook. There is another fountain pen doodle of a portrait of a freckled man with long hair smiling on a sticky note over the drawing of the buildings.

i can never ignore the hate beginner artists get, especially as someone who is self taught and loves art.

your creativity is important. never let bad eggs make you give that up.

we all start somewhere. be kind, and cherish each other's work.

next thing i want to do is draw a comic :’) because what comic artist never draws comics LMAO i have to work on that

i dont like limiting myself but i would like to find my voice as an artist and what i want my art to say if that makes sense. so im working on that!

im using this sketchbook to explore new mediums aesthetics colors and art styles, im looking for things i like in my art to design merch and draw more pieces around it .. i feel like i go with no direction most of the time and i want to find what i like making the most

well i finished three spreads today and i used my gouache for the first time :] im happy! probably still too art blocked to draw a full piece but im doing my best to go back to drawing 🙂‍↕️
