On April 25th, we hosted our annual Graduation Ceremony for the children who participated in the 2025 Outreach Programme. This year, we reached nearly 2,500 students from 15 schools with our classes that focused on essential topics like zoonotic diseases, biology and wildlife conservation. 🌳🍄🐋🐒

But there’s more good news! We've got plenty of
parrots still waiting to be released this year—after 102
were rescued in 2024! 🦜💪

These incredible birds, once victims of the illegal
wildlife trade, now have a second chance in the wild.
Did you know that African greys are among the
world's most trafficked birds? Their popularity in the pet
trade has led to severe declines in their populations,
making them Endangered. 🌍💔

On February 1st, we transferred 28 African grey parrots
into our release aviary. We allowed them to acclimate to
their new environment before opening the doors on
February 15th. By the very next day, all 28 parrots took
to the skies, ready to start their new lives! 🎉✨
