We have discovered that Imogene loves barbecue brisket from Buc-ee's. Her love of fresh meat concerns me.

Last night, Bethany and I kept our annual Valentine's Day tradition of going to Daddy's Date Night! This time, it was Vegas-themed and held at the Madison location. Daddy even came over to say hi! It was a blast, as usual, and we're happy to keep the tradition going.

I don't know much about Super Bowl halftime shows, but that one was really entertaining!

I've been wanting to see this show for a long time! I'm looking forward to hearing about the fates of the wives of Henry VIII. #SixTheMusical

I'm very thankful for Trevecca for putting on this show, especially as pertinent as it is to the world today.

Two days without power in below-freezing temperatures will make you no longer take modern conveniences like central heat for granted. I'm thankful for friends who were able to help me out.

Horror is a genre that usually doesn't get much attention at the Academy Awards, so it's impressive that Sinners set the record for the most nominations in history! It was probably my favorite movie last year, so I'm glad to see it get some well-deserved recognition.

Bethany has been a good influence on me in a lot of ways, but one of the best things she has done is convince me to listen to the Dungeon Crawler Carl audiobooks. They are very much my kind of book, and I'm enjoying listening to the adventures of the Royal Court of Princess Donut.

Making New Year's resolutions is hard when you're already perfect.

Why is Christmas such a stressful time of year? It's supposed to be merry!

I have never seen Die Hard in its entirety. Am I missing out on a Christmas tradition?

I think it's funny that Bethany cuts vegetables with a butcher knife, but I know better than to make fun of her because she's holding a butcher knife.

I had an incredible Thanksgiving and birthday weekend thanks to Bethany and Yorick! We made homemade queso, ate ice cream cake, and watched Shrinking on Apple TV. We had to cancel dinner plans due to some electrical issues at home, but it was still nice and relaxing.

Update: Four state records! She also set the record for overall!

I'm very proud of my fiancée! Bethany set three state powerlifting records today!

On a related note, my performance at the Mr. TNU pageant my senior year is apparently still considered one of its greatest moments!

My feelings about Trevecca and the Church of the Nazarene have changed over the years, but I still appreciate the time that I spent there. It was a very influential party of my life, and the things I learned there and relationships I formed stick with me today. I'm still happy for the experience.

I celebrated my 25-year college class reunion at Trevecca today. It was great seeing some old friends and learning how things have changed in their lives. I also got to stop by the Waggoner Library for its 25th anniversary and library worker reunion--even though the library wasn't built back then!

When I went to Trevecca, dancing wasn't even allowed. Now they have a social dance club!

There's a Dunkin' near me that seems to always hire the most interesting people. Every time I go there, I end up being entertained by whatever is going on behind the counter. Turnover is high, so it's always different people, but they always have personality.

I love this musical and never thought I would ever see it at Trevecca!

We ordered a jack-o-lantern pizza from Papa John's for Halloween. This is the scariest jack-o-lantern I've ever seen! 🤣

A couple of weeks ago, my west coast swing team performed at the Fall Showcase for The Ballroom of Nashville! It was a fun 70s-themed medley of two classic songs. Thanks to everyone on the team for an awesome time with this routine!

My house just can't catch a break. I got another leak, this time under my bathroom sink! Fortunately, the plumbers were able to fix this one without too much trouble.

My West Coast Swing performance team, the Nashville Swing Stars, will be performing at The Franklin Theatre this Saturday at 1:00. If anyone wants to check out some incredible dance showcases, it would be great to have you there!

I haven't been to an opera in a long time, and this one has been interesting!
