Sitting there in shock, he can't move, he can't speak, he doesn't react when hands grip onto his trembling shoulders desperate for his attention.

All he does is stare.
All he really can do is stare.

Stare at the hands that just ended a life.

Karby stares down at his blood covered hands, he can hear the Giggler's muffled voice speaking to him. Was he praising him? Degrading him?

He couldn't tell, he could barely hear him over the ringing in his ears.

He didn't stop until all that was left was mushy brain matter and pieces of skull scattered everywhere.

The rock remains on the mess, hands stay gripping onto it.

A new body now needs to be disposed of.

An innocent person was ended by his own hands just because he was scared of dying.

After tackling them to the ground, he sat on top of them and bludgeoned their head with a nearby rock.

Over and over and over again.

He didn't stop until the screaming did.

He didn't stop until he was covered in blood.

He didn't stop even though his brain tells him to.

So, through reluctance he gives chase after the witness, who had long left the scene

The chase was over shortly. With his long legs, he caught up quite quickly to them.

That's how he got here.

Karby didn't want to do it. He tried to plead and beg the ringmaster — only to receive a threat instead.

If the jester doesn't listen, 𝙗𝙤𝙩𝙝 𝙝𝙞𝙢 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙗𝙚 𝙙𝙮𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙤𝙣𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩.

And Karby didn't want to die.

The two circus members were getting rid of a few bodies when the bystander had stumbled upon them.

Time seemed to freeze for both the bystander and the jester.

But for the ringmaster? It seemed normal to him, and with a dark chuckle he orders the jester to get rid of the witness.

The ringmaster stands to the behind, hands resting on the shoulders of the trembling jester as he leans down to whisper praise

Praise for what?

For 𝙠𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜.

Killing an innocent bystander at that, who just so happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time.

Bloody hands tremble, a large rock in hands covered in the same crimson liquid.

The jester trembles, his breathing shaking and hiccuping. Tears ran down his blood splattered face, with violet eyes blown wide.
