They are not an honest assessment of the state of politics today.

I’m One of the Clergy ICE Assaulted. They Treat Immigrants Worse I learned the hard way that my clerical collar doesn’t offer much protection from ICE. But immigrants have no protection at all.

I don’t know how many times I’ve watched this video.

I don’t know how we’ve gotten to the point where men in full balaclavas can abduct daycare teachers while they’re watching children.

But I do know that this isn’t sustainable. Abolish ICE. There is no way to reform this.

Moreover, as for stops of those individuals who are legally in the country, the questioning in those circumstances is typically brief, and those individuals may promptly go free after making clear to the immigration officers that they are U.S. citizens or otherwise legally in the United States.
