Lay me down in a bed of nostalgia
where once, I laughed freely
butterflies danced in my
belly
and a spark I thought was extinguished
came roaring to life

we were only meant for a little while
life’s hardest pill to swallow, isn’t it?
I accept that I’ll always miss you

love can be cruel like that

feeling very tattooish rn

i came across your picture today
and studied it awhile
you're not a handsome man
by anybody's measure

but you've got something else
elusive
indefinable

and whatever that something is
makes me want you
with a passion hotter than krakatoa
redder than rubies

a delicious felony of desire
warming me from the inside out
heating my skin

if you touched me
you'd get burned

the sad part is you'll never read this
and even if you did
you wouldn't recognize yourself

you'd never know that yes
i'm talking to you
because you don't think of me this way
and likely never will

but hey
a girl can dream

from my heart,
you captivated me so

I came alive

I’ve worked on my mindset over the years, & I’ve discovered that the pain of things never leave you. So I just embrace it & let the emotions flow when needed and appropriately.

I miss many things in my life that are no longer present, but I know that it continues on, whether you want it to or not.

It’s summer, so have fun buying more before it goes away!

there’s a longing now
deeper than the one before

to fill the cavernous space in my heart
with a love that explores the very depth of our souls,
