naive question: any practical reason to prefer the Elekta instead of the CTF MEG system?
having worked with both, I personally prefer the CTF. no need to bother maxfilter, and effectively more pairs of gradiometers.

New preprint: When and How to Deviate from a Preregistration osf.io/preprints/ps... I hope this helps researchers to reflect on the consequence of deviations from preregistrations by evaluating the test's severity and the validity of the inference.

very cool finding! I _remember_ playing with your meg data (from the PNASpaper) a long time ago asking exactly this question and did not find strong enough evidence for it there (maybe not enough subjects).
