SB1098 passed the senate today! This is a huge milestone for a bill that was shut down in committee last year. So grateful to have been able to work on this along side so many amazing people.

Yes, unfortunately. Shouldn’t impact the bill as the EO will be held up in court over those definitions at least for a while- that’s why it’s important we get legislation like this passed at the state level as soon as possible in as many places as possible.

I do not say this to be snarky, but myself and many trans activists knew a time like this was on the horizon. And now we are here. And I can count on one hand how many times cis people have checked in on me since J 20.

Just so deeply disappointed. I am exhausted already.

All I can really say at this point is if everyone isn't watching how trans people have lost basic rights and protections on a scale that hasn't been seen in decades in the span of 72 hours and realizing that even if you aren't trans there's nothing stopping it from happening to you, you're a fool
