still, i cherish the work that i did for this au. i believe i did good. that said, i still feel a little bad that i’m leaving my readers in the dark, so this artwork is my way of saying that these characters… will be okay.

i want to work on other things, at least for a little while.

i also don’t want to promise a return date. it could be later this year, or next year, or in three years, or never.

basically after 60 chapters and several months of working almost exclusively on hollowheart i burned myself out and lost motivation to sit down and work on it.

it’s hard to admit because i have an outline for the rest of the story, but i can’t force myself to work something i simply don’t want to.

I wonder if this fish nearly escaping death was foreshadowing for khun’s coma
