Hmm - then agreed Guehi wouldn’t necessarily be the answer. But, if Konate is so fast, why does he keep getting absolutely smoked in the open field with balls over the top? Fatigue?

I do think Leoni was looking so promising with the speed and height. I can’t wait for him to recover, grow, and be great.

It seems like our main issue is the counter. I don’t know tactics well enough to know if height helps combat this. To me there’s been several times that look like Konate lacks the speed to deal with the long ball over the top. It feels like we need a speedy CB to complement VVD. Is Guehi that?
