New project on the bench. A hat block order arrived today and now I am making patterns for leather panels for the main outer shell, which will be made from leather. The project is a leather helmet, based on an example in the Newark Civil War Museum.

I'm onto stage 2 of the plague doctor costume. The mask is complete and now I'm starting on the overcoat. This is a major departure from my normal work. The cutting out and pinning of the panels took 6 hours.

I read that as a teenager. Pretty good, plus another Star Wars novel with Han & Chewie called Han Solo's Revenge. I enjoyed them at the time.
