10.10.2025 08:54 β π 2 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0The government inherited a broken mental health system.
But it can't let the situation get any worse.
We must prioritise cutting mental health waiting times.
We want to break the vicious cycle of money and mental health problems π
Phone-only negotiations exclude some of the people most affected, driving up costs and stress. Weβre calling on essential service providers to offer a genuine choice of contact channels.
Thatβs why the latest @citizensadvice.bsky.social report matters.
π It shows that, in phone and broadband, the best renewal prices are effectively locked behind a phone negotiation - disproportionately affecting those of us with mental health problems. π

It is crucial that the next parliament focuses on the things that matter to people, like tackling child poverty. π£οΈ
Ensuring parents have access to flexible work and affordable childcare, investment in affordable housing and an adequate social security system are essential. 3/4

π’Without action, families with children will see their incomes fall by the end of this Parliament.
But our new analysis shows it doesn't have to be this way.
Scrapping the two-child limit and adding a protected minimum floor into Universal Credit could reverse this trend. π§΅
