We've got some weather here in NYC.

Yeah... But Surya landed on a single blade.

Gripe: it was 18* today, stopped into the TJ Maxx to buy a pair of gloves because I lost another pair. Floral spring dresses but no winter gloves.

Perhaps it's the impending snow storm. Perhaps it's the stress of *everything*, but New Yorkers were uncharacteristically friendly & chatty with each other tonight.

Well, it's January 5th. Time to reacquaint myself with vegetables.

I hear you. I got covid, pneumonia & flu jabs at the same time last week. 12 hours later, had awful chills for about 8 hours.

PS Can report that both limbs and pride are still intact.

Along with thousands of New Yorkers and tourists, I risked the wholeness of my limbs and pride on the icy paths of the majestically snow-covered Central Park.

I have lost The Little Drummer Boy Challenge yet again. This year it was at the grocery store. Oh well, at least it wasn't the holiday channel ad on WNYC again.

Downtown Friday as the tree was being put up.

Timeline cleanser... NYC marathon today. 26.2 miles (minus the bridges) of New Yorkers cheering for random strangers. The bridges have the sound of thousands of footfalls.
