I've also never once attempted to touch competitive, so the similarity between experiences checks out. I also enjoy the perks, it's confusing at first but interesting once you figure out what you like.

But it was a unique experience going "who the fuck are you?" to half of the playable characters. I personally enjoyed playing as water college boy and big hat healing boy a lot. Ramattra and Mauga are hot. May play the game again next weekend. That's my professional review.

I did Over my Watch this weekend & I was impressed how the game felt the same as it did ~2019. I kept hearing about how they fucked everything up with OW2, which I believe. They must have had to do some nuclear tier walk-backs in the last 7 years to get it to its current 2019-feeling state in 2026.

People treat fanart & OC like separate life paths you select at birth. Want to do less fanart, more OC? Don't need to ship yourself to a monastery where they hit your wrist with wooden paddles if you ever dare ask to draw a picture of Sonic the Hedgehog. You can do either at any time man, even both.

No Gutsman (SAD) but issue #0 is really simple & cute. Then we get to issue #1 and Megaman is smothered by debris as the planes dive into the world trade center. Like, wow that's heavy. The art in all of them is cool though.

I'm interested in checking out Overwatch again, if only just to play it for one weekend. Do you guys know if they still have the C-op modes / arcade stuff? Loved that, was never fond of the serious PVP stuff.

Should not surprise anyone that Boom is my #1 lovable loser. I can't remember many other standouts. I enjoy when he's capable, but also sometimes played as a joke or energetically crazy. I don't like "ultra serious" brooding mastermind Eggman, which seems to be the current trend.

I think you should worry about your needs first. The Patreon isn't going anywhere & late-subscribers stand to benefit the most anyhow.

I enjoy doing commissions too, but work is inconsistent if you don't draw furries, which I only really do for friends. All my clients have been super nice & enjoyed the end results, but I often feel disappointed in myself. Patreon by comparison has felt very win / win between me and supporters.

We're only about 4 months in, but yeah, I really like Patreon. And the Discord server is fun & useful. I enjoy doing this a lot more than commissions, for now. It's easier to do alongside a fulltime job, it's less pressure, I feel good about what I'm making.

I agree. It's just good ol' gatekeeping & a feeling of entitlement to control someone else's work. Not worth sending any attention to, but I wanted to find the silver lining in it anyway.
