definitely helps a ton surrounding urself with a chill group you can play with. i think my own energy can be a lot for other people sometimes, so i usually solo queue tho

that sounds like so much fun, i used to play only zeus with my friend years ago and it led to some super silly chaotic moments

i really wish it were easier for me to just play for fun but i've got a serious case of competitive gaming brain worms

cs can be so beautiful to play when you're just having fun with it though, i just really really struggle with taking it less seriously

exactly! i was streaming and talking about how i really don't even want to win because i feel like my teammates don't deserve me trying with how they were treating me. we won 13-11 and i topfragged but i didn't feel good about it, even now i still feel awful. those people probably moved on instantly

i like trying hard, and i feel like i (should) learn more from faceit against players with the same mindset

it prides itself on being a more serious alternative to matchmaking, but imo its just as toxic, and there's no guarantee of quality.

in my last game i was called the n word in round 2 🥲

competitive gaming as a whole is pretty bleak if you're queer, nothing new there i guess. it feels so dire getting called the full rotation of slurs while you're just trying to have fun

counter strike is probably one of the worst games you can subject yourself to as a queer person

i just got flamed for a full 24 rounds while top fragging. i guess i shouldn't have *reads note* sounded gay .
