It's why "moral rights," as in "I created it so I get to say what you can do with it above and beyond the bounds of copyrights," doesn't exist for us.

I call that a net good (though not everyone agrees).

I'd still call that incentive, though, especially in light of the US's constitutional basis for copyright.
