I genuinely think he must just be on TV because of his looks. It's the only thing that makes sense. He had an ok career but his punditry is woeful and he seems to know next to nothing about any of the teams... 🙄

Are the recovery rooms too nice or something?!?! What is going on! At least we have the squad to cope with it this season and aren't relying on a completely past it Sterling...

At least Arsenal have the squad to cope this season but these injuries are becoming a bit of a joke now...

I look forward to Salah, VVD, Wirtz, Ekitike and Gravenberch all being out over the course of the next few months... 🙄

At least we have the players to cope this season but it does feel mad that Arsenal have all these injuries when we didn't play in the Mickey mouse cup in the summer. Would have expected Chelsea and City to have suffered on that front but alas this is the Arsenal... 🙄

I suppose all those concerns about players not being able to get minutes is moot if everyone spends a couple of months out injured this season... 🙄

The only small positive is that we aren't relying on a crocked Sterling to play. Saka, Ethan and Dowman can all share minutes until Madueke is fit again.

You'll have to blame Eddie Jones for this one. Finishers is very much a term coined by him when he was the England rugby coach. Personally I don't care what they are called as long as they impact the game for my team. Not sure the players would care either. They just want to get on the pitch.

Arteta is by nature a conservative, cautious coach. His team selections prove that. I don't have a problem with caution at times but I don't think you win the league playing like that at home. We have the players to attack and score goals, it might impact the defence but I think it's worth the risk.

No one has the right to 3 points but City aren't what they were. Maybe I'm deluded but personally think Arsenal are a better team right now and should be winning at home. Given the stats once Arteta made changes I see no reason why we shouldn't have won if he'd been bolder with his team selection.

Agreed. Personally don't mind being more cautious away from home but at the Emirates we need to be braver. City aren't what they have been. We need to stop giving teams so much respect and back our attacking players to score goals.

My only concern is not other teams tbh. If we are to win the league, Arteta needs to be bolder. He has to pick a side to help us attack and create and not just stifle the opponent. 2 dropped points today but there's still a long way to go.

Agreed. He's a good striker not a great one. I think most of us already knew that tbh but his performances in the bigger games this season have proven it too.

If that midfield had done well against Forest or Athletic Club then fine, play it again. But we got better once we changed things and he still picks the same midfield... Merino has nudes that's the only logical reason for keeping up with this!

It's only a short trip to Turkey. He could easily get a hair transplant, otherwise known as a Wayne Rooney...

I was annoyed at the time but bad decisions are so common in the PL I'm not sure there's much point clinging on to one's from 2 years ago... I'm sure we'll have another egregious decision to moan about soon enough! 😂

It seems increasingly like Chelsea might actually have a teenager running their recruitment department. They genuinely cannot stop signing players. Can't remember another club signing as many players outside of the transfer window as them!

Amen to this. Not often you'd expect to hear a Man United fan on the Arsecast but Musa was fantastic the other week and Stadio is a great podcast because as you say they aren't interested in tribalism and hot takes. They love football and are curious and think critically about the game.

Guess we'll find out at the end of the season... 🤷‍♂️

Lots of people throwing shade at Palace but I'm with you. LFC could have signed Guehi ages ago if they really wanted and given Palace time to replace him. Palace were clear what they wanted for him. I don't get it when they did so many deals early. Maybe they needed players out first?
