The John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation has generously awarded us funding to secure our own storage. This critical processing space will be instrumental in ensuring that large datasets can be temporarily stored, curated, and described.
Thank you, MacArthur Foundation, for your support!
Looove this! Aleksandra, maybe we should start a map of our DRP stickers' travels π

I had the immense privilege of being the keynote speaker at #MDLS2025. In my talk, I reported on the work of the @datarescueproject.org. And while there were too many highlights to capture in one post, I hope this image sums it up.
Thank you, MDLS, for being such a kind and welcoming space.
Ahhh the Do you have data button!!! Please set one aside for me ;)

This post has been simmering in our drafts for a while. Like so many people, Fahrenheit 451 profoundly impacted me, and is one of the reasons I've been invested in long-term preservation of and access to information. I just didn't realize I'd have to fight for it in my lifetime, in my country.
