The Spongebob Movie Game is so graphically weak but the game itself is so much fun that I use it as the poster child for visuals never holding a candle to gameplay in terms of importance. I'd rather have a game that looks bad and plays great, then a game that looks great but is mechanically empty

I saw a Letterboxd review that described it as "Joker for Women", and that comparison feels warranted. The only difference is that I like this way more than Joker (2019). Also I love how much of a different film it is tonally from X (2022) despite taking place in the same location. (8/10)
